This Privacy Policy explains how www.insta4dl.com (“we”, “us”) handles information when you use our website and tools. We designed the service to work with as little data as possible.
1. Information we do not collect
- We never ask for, receive or store your Instagram username or password.
- We do not create user accounts and do not require registration.
- We do not store copies of the media you download. Files are streamed from Instagram’s servers to your device.
2. Information processed when you use the tools
When you submit a link or username, our server requests the matching public media from Instagram. To run the service and protect it from abuse we process:
- The link or username you entered, cached for a short time (normally less than an hour) so repeated requests load faster.
- Your IP address, used to limit the number of requests per minute and, together with the security cookie described below, to tie each download link to the device that requested it. Download links, including the information they depend on, expire automatically after about three hours.
- Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, page requested, time), kept by our hosting and security providers for a limited period for security and troubleshooting.
3. Data stored on your device
Your list of recent lookups is saved in your browser’s local storage so you can repeat them quickly. It never leaves your device. You can delete it with the “Clear” button or by clearing your browser data.
4. Cookies, analytics and advertising
Security cookie. When you use a download tool we set one strictly necessary cookie, i4d_vid. It holds a random identifier – no personal information – and lets our download server confirm that a download link is being opened by the same browser that requested it, so links can’t be reused by others. It expires after 30 days. Because the tools can’t work securely without it, it doesn’t require consent.
We also use the following third-party services, which may use cookies or similar technologies:
- Google Analytics, to understand how many people use the site and which pages are useful. Data is aggregated; we don’t use it to identify individuals.
- Google AdSense, to show ads that keep the service free.
Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to our users based on their visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

If you contact us, we receive the name, email address and message you send, and use them only to reply. We delete correspondence when it is no longer needed.

7. Children
The service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their data.
